The whole liturgical life of the Church revolves around the Eucharistic sacrifice and the sacraments. There are seven sacraments in the Church: Baptism, Confirmation or Chrismation, Eucharist, Penance, Anointing of the Sick, Holy Orders, and Matrimony. Sacraments are "powers that comes forth" from the Body of Christ, which is ever-living and life-giving. They are actions of the Holy Spirit at work in his Body, the Church. They are "the masterworks of God" in the new and everlasting covenant.
Our next class for Parents and Godparents, will be Monday, August 15 at 6:30pm in the church. Please call the office to register for the baptism classes. For more Information on the sacrament of baptism please contact Martha Gomez at 210.698.1941 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
Those who approach the sacrament of Penance obtain pardon from God's mercy for the offense committed against him, and are, at the same time, reconciled with the Church which they have wounded by their sins and which by charity, by example, and by prayer labors for their conversion.
Confessions are every Wednesday evening at 6:30pm and Thursday mornings at 8:30am
Engaged couples must be registered in the parish and make an initial appointment with the Pastor at least six months prior to the wedding date. Please call the parish office at 210.698.1941 to make an appointment.
