Catechesis Of The Good Shepherd

Catechesis of the Good Shepherd is a montessori based approach to the religious formation of children where the deep bond between God and the child is nurtured. Children age 3-12 come to a specially prepared environment called the atrium to work with hands on materials that help them explore and reflect on scripture, prayer and liturgical events. Children, together with their catechist, reflect on the great mysteries of the Christian faith.  

Catechesis of the Good Shepherd As part of the preparation process, children in Second Level will attend weekly mediations throughout the month of May. These meditations focus on how their relationship with Jesus is lived through the Sacraments. Parents are also invited to attend. A First Communion retreat and the celebration of both Sacraments will take place in June.
