IT’S HAMMER TIME!
This is the exciting part of our Habitat project. We will begin construction of our Habitat home on Saturday, February 4, and continue each Saturday for 9 weeks. We need YOU to help us build this home. No experience is necessary. They will instruct you on each task, and supply the necessary tools. What an opportunity this is to expand your knowledge of construction, and have a great time with fellow parishioners in doing so!
To sign up to work, click the link below to the Habitat Sign-Up Genius. It will have all the information you need about location, times, age requirements and what to bring. This makes a great family service project, or an opportunity for service hours.
Let’s work together to make the dream of home ownership a reality for a deserving family. Sign up to work one day or all the days of our project.

OUR LADY OF SEAS #2662
Catholic Daughters of the Americas is a national organization of over 60,000 women in 1,150 courts (chapters) in the 45 states as well as Puerto Rico, Mexico, Guam, and the Virgin Islands. The motto of the Catholic Daughters is "unity and charity" and they strive to be "helping hands where there is pain, poverty, sorrow or sickness." In 2012 a group of 126 women began Our Lady of SEAS, Court 2662 of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas. Currently we have over 100 members and actively support many charities and organizations. We would love for you to join us in our many opportunities of helping others through God's love. We meet on the first Thursday of the month for fellowship, conversation and prayer. If you have any questions please email Debbie Ortiz, debbieo657@sbcglobal.net

Thanks to the efforts of Father Michael J. McGivney, assistant pastor of St. Mary’s Church in New Haven and some of his parishioners, the Connecticut state legislature on March 29, 1882, officially chartered the Knights of Columbus as a fraternal benefit society. The Order is still true to its founding principles of charity, unity and fraternity. If you are interested in learning more or joining our local Knights of Columbus chapter please contact one of our council members below or visit seaskofc.org.

The men of SEAS believe that it is necessary for men to meet and talk about faith and theology and how both intersect in their lives. To fulfill this need, the men of SEAS follow the “That Man is You!” (TMIY) program developed by Paradisus Dei (Latin for Paradise of God), an organization that helps families discover the superabundance of God in marriage and family life. TMIY honestly addresses the pressures and temptations that men face in our modern culture, especially those relating to their roles as husbands and fathers.
Are you looking to deepen your relationship with God?
Be a better husband? Become a more loving father? Build friendships with other like-minded men? And seek to be the best man you can be?
Join the men of SEAS for That Man is You!

As representatives of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul, the Ministry of Care members are sent forth as anointed servants to be aware of the sick and homebound in our parish, in order to assist in their spiritual needs. We especially commit to pray for them daily, through our Prayer Ministry and/or to call, visit, and take the Eucharist to them through our Communion Ministry. We send out Get Well cards and Sympathy cards on behalf of the SEAS Community to keep in contact with them and let them know their parish family is with them in their spiritual journey. To request an intention on the prayer list or to receive communion at home contact: Mae Black at maebl@gvtc.com or Pat Hernandez at plozhernandez@gmail.com or you can fill out the form below. Requests are shared only with members of the ministry of care and are not publicized through any parish communication.
