SEAS Elementary Sacrament classes are offered in-person and online.

Children in grades 2nd (and up) are able to begin preparation to receive the Sacraments of first Reconciliation and first Communion. Faith Formation staff and volunteers guide students and parents through the preparation process using the God’s Gift curriculum from Loyola Press.

During this time of preparation, children learn the purpose and beauty of receiving and experiencing God’s grace among these holy Sacraments. Parents are also guided in how to support the students through the process.

The first semester is spent preparing children to receive first Reconciliation that will take place in either January or February. During the second semester, students begin learning about the reception of first Communion, which will take place on various Saturdays and Sundays in May.
