The wonderful volunteers responsible for the Altar Linens ensure that care is taken when cleaning and preserving the beauty and life of the altar vestments and linens. Each week those who care for the sacred cloths of the litury, do so with reverence and love.
The Privilege of Being an Altar Server
Pope John Paul II declared that, “The altar server has a privileged place in liturgical celebrations. Those who serve at Mass present themselves to a community. They experience from close at hand that Jesus Christ is present and active in every liturgy . . . In the liturgy you are far more than mere 'helpers of the parish priest'. Above all, you are servants of Jesus Christ, the eternal High Priest.”Role of an Altar Server
The altar server assists at the weekend Masses and during other liturgical celebration. They are active participants in the liturgy through listening to the words of God, singing and praying with the entire assembly.
Young people who are at least nine years old have the opportunity to function as lay ministers by reverently assisting the celebrant during Mass and at special liturgies throughout the year.

The first face you will see as you enter the church will be one of our friendly greeters. These dedicated volunteers are the first touch of God's love visitors receive as they walk into the doors of the church. Greeters offer a kind word, a handshake, and a welcoming smile, and may be called upon to collect the offering, assist with the offertory, or prepare drink refreshments in the Gathering Space after Mass.
